Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, Malaysia has extended the lockdown four times from March 18th to May 12th.
Yesterday (May 10th), the Malaysian government announced that the shutdown period will be extended by another four weeks until June 9th. While long-distance travel is still prohibited during this shutdown, some economic activities have been allowed to resume based on the guidelines.
