Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, Malaysia has extended the shutdown period five times from March 18 to June 9.
The day before yesterday (June 7), the Prime Minister of Malaysia announced in a televised address that the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) would be lifted in 9 days.
Instead, he said that he would introduce the Recovery Activity Restriction Order (RCMO) from June 10 to August 31 in order to restore economic and social activities.

RCMO has decided to allow most activities, such as barber shops, beauty salons, markets, and sports activities, which have not been allowed so far, to resume from the 10th.
On the other hand, entertainment such as sports competitions, nightclubs, pubs and massages where many people gather was not allowed.
In addition, while cross-state travel, which was previously prohibited, has been permitted, the reopening of borders has not yet been scheduled.
